How well did the prospective singing stars do? Based on the auditions excerpted on the show, the talent pool wasn’t that impressive. Quite a number of auditionees had pretty good voices, but they went the usual gaya-gaya route and imitated some name singers’ vocal stylizations, so the impact they made was minimal.
A story is developing in Idolwood right now. David Cook, known for his rock out performances, was taken to a hospital after yesterday’s show. According to TMZ, his heart palpitated at a high rate last night and it was compounded by high blood pressure.
